GoblinsKeep
The castle was stolen fair and square. Now the humans want it back.
In GoblinsKeep, you are the newly established Goblin King, ruler of a crumbling fortress that your subjects have enthusiastically claimed as their own. Unfortunately, the previous owners—and just about everybody else in the surrounding countryside—have some objections.
Deploy your goblin defenders across the Gate, Courtyard, and Throne Room, decide where to commit your limited forces, and watch the siege unfold as enemy troops fight their way deeper into the keep.
Your army is small, scrappy, and extremely expendable:
Stabbahz are cheap frontline goblins who solve most problems by introducing them to something pointy.
Shootahz soften up attackers from a distance before the fighting gets personal.
Brootz are large, durable goblins whose strategic doctrine can generally be summarized as “hit it harder.”
After each successful defense, reinforce your surviving army, repair the keep, redeploy your troops, and prepare for the next assault.
Fortunately, you are not ruling alone.
Your chief advisor Greeshnak is an overworked goblin strategist, quartermaster, intelligence officer, bureaucrat, and—through some terrible administrative mistake—the closest thing your kingdom has to a competent civil servant. You can speak to Greeshnak directly during the game, ask him about the current state of the siege, request tactical advice, or simply subject him to whatever brilliant royal ideas occur to you.
He will do his best.
Probably.
Presented as a colorful paper-cutout fantasy diorama, GoblinsKeep is a compact portrait strategy game built around quick defensive decisions, tiny goblin armies, and the questionable administrative practices required to maintain a stolen castle under siege.
Hold the Gate. Defend the Courtyard. Protect the Throne.
And try not to make Greeshnak fill out too many forms.
